The personal story

Neelesh grew up at Meleng Tea Estate in Assam, near Jorhat. Home was a large wooden chang bungalow raised on iron pillars, with a big open ground in front, a kitchen garden and many trees. He and his brother played cricket there; his father rode a red motorcycle to work.

That memory is the root of the interactive garden on the home page — a stylised collage of the place and family, not a literal reconstruction.
